Admissions
We can accept children into our school Nursery the term after their 3rd Birthday. If you are looking for a space for a child younger than this we signpost to Explorers at Sundorne. They are located on our site but are an independent company. Please feel free to view their website – https://www.explorersatsundorne.co.uk/ and contact them directly.
Nursery Available Hours
Within our Nursery we only offer 15 or 30 hour funded places.

All children aged 3 and 4 are entitled to 15 hours free childcare. For more information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply for a 30 hour code please visit https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare
We do not offer hours outside of the ones stated above. For before/ afterschool and non funded hours please contact Explorers.
When / how to apply?
We advise completing an application form as soon as possible to reserve your child’s space. This can be downloaded below or you can collect a paper copy from the school office.
We will then be in contact with you the term before your child is due to start to confirm you would still like the space, arrange an induction visit and will send a registration pack (please note this will all be sent via email).

Shropshire School admissions
In-Year Admissions
From 1 September 2024. Shropshire Council will be coordinating and allocating all requests for places at our school.
We welcome prospective parents to visit our school. If you wish to apply for a place at our school, please complete the online application form via link below.
Your application will be processed by the School Admissions Team at Shropshire Council in accordance with our school’s oversubscription criteria. You will then be notified via letter of the outcome of your application.

Transferring to Junior School – Year 3
As we are an Infant and Junior School you will need to re-apply for your child to transfer to Year 3 (Junior School). Junior School admissions are managed by Shropshire Council. For more information about how and when to apply please visit their website
