The Trust was established in March 2017 with the goal of providing the highest possible academic opportunities for children, alongside fostering the development of their all-round skills and talents.
In April 2024, the Haughmond Schools group, comprising Harlescott Junior School and Sundorne Infant School and Nursery, joined our growing family of schools. In March 2026, we were delighted to welcome Short Wood Primary School, further expanding our collaborative community and enriching the opportunities available across our trust.
Severn Bridges Multi Academy Trust brings together six primary schools across the medieval and historic towns of Shrewsbury and Telford. It is formed of six large primary schools; Harlescott Junior School, Sundorne Infant School and Nursery, Greenfields Primary School, Mount Pleasant Primary School and Nursery, Radbrook Primary School and Shortwood Primary School.
It is a great privilege for me to lead the MAT, and my primary aim is to ensure that our schools deliver the highest quality and most equitable education possible for every one of our pupils.
I work alongside a committed, dedicated, and talented team of staff, trustees, and governors, who are strongly supported by our parents and the local community. We all work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young citizens of the future.
Please feel free to contact me or the schools directly for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.
